Current Character Sheet for Stev Bora
Captain Stev Bora
A slight man, Stev has the typical green scales associated with a man of his race. He secures his long black hair in a high pony tail to keep his blue eyes clear, with two additional bands securing it midway through the length of his hair. He is heavily tattooed with black and red markings that have typically been associated with the Sith.
Stev Bora has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Stev Bora downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
Stev Bora has spent his entire life among the stars, never belonging to a single world or civilization. To him, ships are homes, crews are families, and the endless expanse of space is the only constant he has ever known. This freedom has made him adaptable, independent, and difficult to control, but it has also left him reluctant to form lasting attachments. Stev claims he works only for the thrill of flight and the freedom of the cockpit, but deep down he has always been searching for a crew worth calling his own.
Stev Bora prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Stev Bora is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Stev Bora to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Stev Bora can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Stev Bora vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Stev Bora? Stev Bora doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Stev Bora, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Stev Bora isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Stev Bora won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Stev Bora will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
