If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Meng Jishi thinks she can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Meng Jishi, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. She has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and her confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if she fails to fix something, she is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.

Meng Jishi loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than she does with people. Some may call her antisocial - and they'd be right.

Meng Jishi is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Meng Jishi to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Meng Jishi can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.

Meng Jishi likes to engage in detailed discussions and think through situations carefully, often collaborating with others to seek their opinions before deciding on the best course of action. While this often ensures Meng Jishi is more fair and well-respected amongst her peers, sometimes others do not have time to discuss this in a committee.

While Meng Jishi avoids combat whenever possible, she has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Meng Jishi has trained herself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Meng Jishi almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Meng Jishi has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows her the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Meng Jishi then uses her own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Meng Jishi has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
