Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. She has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of her own. This allows Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to her solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri's alternative practices. She typically brushes them off in favor of doing everything she can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.

While Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward her best effort, it’s still just a job. Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri's true loyalties lie to her friends, and through thick and thin,she will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri's trust, putting her at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust her motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri, though, because loyalty to her friends is not something credits can buy.

Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri has been patching up the wounded for years as a Medic and has come to the conclusion that more often than not, the injuries are either self inflicted or deserved. While she will always work tirelessly on behalf of her patient in an ongoing quest to preserve all life, that doesn’t stop her from scolding or belittling patients that she feels should know better than to walk into a rancor pit with a bucket of raw meat. Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri teeters on the line between compassion and supporting selective evolution, which can make her come off as less friendly or inviting than other medics.

Rowena Erinos-Magnuri has spent her entire life in situations where an adversary is found, whether it’s clamping an artery whilst a maelstrom of blaster bolts flit around her or taking down a cocky opponent who is more interested in flirting than fighting. As an example of her competitive nature that’s so deeply ingrained, Rowena Erinos-Magnuri subconsciously started wearing thick-soled boots when she noticed that her twin brother was an inch taller than her. This part of the half-Shaevalian’s personality — a combination of extremely competitive and partly insecure — makes her appear overly aggressive to others, who will actively avoid to be seen as an opponent in any arena.

Over her time becoming skilled in both Echani and IMAS (Imperial Martial Arts System) from her service in the New Republic military, Rowena Erinos-Magnuri has found a way to mesh these two styles into a form she calls ‘Eye of the Hawk’. The rapid, devastating strikes aimed at extended limbs and triangular footwork of IMAS, combined with the stance and full body attacks of Echani make her a lethal opponent who aims to quickly end a fight. Since most of Rowena Erinos-Magnuri’s past bouts have ended quickly, she is unaccustomed to long engagements and can be easily overwhelmed by multiple opponents.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with thorough martial arts training. Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster her prowess in close-quarters combat, Rowena "Rowan" Erinos-Magnuri is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
