Burn the flesh and he will cool, remove a limb and he will replace it, wound him and he will rise again. Indomitable, invincible and unbreakable, to never be truly defeated is a determining factor of Craden Vanar. Craden has suffered many a hardships through his life and has grown and learned from each one. He has become a wall mentally and physically, ready to defend and ready to take damage from whatever strikes him. Through this method though his body has been wraught with pain that he must live with for the rest of his life. His mental wall keeps him from expressing solid emotion, which has led to a state of depression.

Craden Vanar is one that holds a near religious belief in his ancestors to him and has shown this through going on personal crusades in order to honor him. These have made him critical of others and untrusting of other Mando'ade.

Killing has never been a problem for Craden Vanar; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Craden Vanar does, and he likes what he does.

Craden Vanar tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Craden Vanar is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has lead him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.

If Craden Vanar had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
