Brin Khufus has served in a command capacity over others for most of his life. He has often been the most skilled of the peer groups that have surrounded him for most of his life. As a result, he often carries himself as if the superiority of his skills or ideas should be self evident to those around him. In short, his is a pompous, self important blowhard.

Khufus has actively cultivated an image as an unforgiving taskmaster, and his use of the Force has been tailored to suit his goals. He feels that keeping those around him, specifically subordinates, held in a constant state of suspended terror works wonders for their level of motivation. A judicious use of the Force to intimidate here, the execution of a non-performer there, he will do whatever it takes to accomplish whatever mission he sets for himself.

Brin Khufus will never sugar coat anything. He does not respect most social conventions about politeness or tact, instead favoring bluntly honest evaluations offered in a matter of fact manner. His willingness to tell it like it is has endeared him to some of his superiors while infuriating others, but he has served to insulate all of them from the dangers of over-reliance on yes men.

Due to Khufus’s great height and his personality, he has developed a reputation for looking down on those around him. This reputation is absolutely accurate, as he makes no effort to hide his disdain of those that he works with. He has seen so much incompetence and apathy around him in his years that he expects it on all sides, and so therefore behaves accordingly. Few are those that have ever impressed him.

An expert in the lightsaber, Khufus is unparalleled amongst his peers for his vicious use of his chosen weapon. His desire to fully dominate opponents often leads to him favoring amputation of limbs in order to subdue an opponent, even those that must be taken alive. Knowledgeable with how to inflict the maximum amount of damage and pain in his enemies, Khufus never strives for less.

While Khufus is an offensively minded combatant, he knows that keeping oneself protected while engaged in offense is of supreme import. Since his chosen lightsaber form has left him with a more porous defense than others, he has trained extensively with defensive Force powers. He will often move through the battlefield like a berserker, but does so with a defense that leaves him nearly as protected as most Juggernauts. This focus has, however, left him less skilled in the offensive Force-based arts.
