A sandy-orange Twi'lek, Lav'anre might appear non-assuming at a glance. Despite her diminutive height and lean frame, she can often be found wearing simple, functional clothes: a pair of worn pants and a tank top typically covered by an old Rebellion-era jacket bearing the Rebel crest. A knife or blaster is usually worn on a belt holster at her side. Looking into the young Twi'lek's dark-brown-green eyes, you would see a weariness beyond her years, a hardness in her gaze.
Lav'anre's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Lav'anre has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Lav'anre a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Lav'anre can be very protective, and when any of her friends are being bullied or threatened, she will step in to defend them. This can get Lav'anre in trouble when she refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, her friends know that no matter what, Lav'anre will be there for them.
Lav'anre is not afraid to exploit any advantage or position of power she has when dealing with others, and relies on a combination of fear, intimidation, manipulation and shows of strength to convince others to compromise and lose. Lav'anre can be quite callous in her dealings with others, and never gives up her power. This has earned Lav'anre with the reputation of a “bully” and can often make negotiations difficult before they even begin.
All who gain power are afraid to lose it, and Lav'anre is no exception. Some use their power for good, some for evil; Lav'anre, however, knows that these are just points of view. She is on a quest for greater power, and uses all her skills and abilities to ensure her supremacy, regardless of the consequences.
Lav'anre works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Lav'anre has learned to not take jabs about her stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for her inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Lav'anre's discipline of never overestimating her own abilities or those of her opponents. She has trained to fully utilize her size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. She knows exactly how to leverage her weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Lav'anre becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Lav'anre has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows her the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Lav'anre then uses her own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Lav'anre has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
