Physical Description

Rathus stands at just under six feet tall, his frame thin and athletic rather than powerful and muscular. It is immediately obvious that the young man has spent very little time doing fieldwork, as evidenced by his graveyard tan and lack of even the smallish noticeable scar or blemish. Despite this, however, he seems to have remained in at least decent physical condition, rather than wasting away as some who frequent their time with technology and management do. Uninhibited black hair flows from his scalp, slightly waved and curled, constantly just threatening to obscure his vision, the back flowing to shoulder-length. Hawkish eyes peer out at the world from this framing of hair, a light blue-gray, occasionally sparking with a strange sheen as his eyes dart about.

Circuit-Brained (General Aspect)

Rathus Marr loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.

Resourceful Researcher (General Aspect)

Rathus Marr's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Rathus Marr has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Rathus Marr a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...

Atychiphobia (Personality Aspect)

Rathus Marr's ego is severely lacking. While some in the Brotherhood are proud and headstrong, Rathus Marr is doubtful and timid. Rathus Marr's efforts always seem to fall short of his own expectations, and what he assumes others expect of him. As such, Rathus Marr's successes are only bittersweet, and fear of disappointing his comrades plagues him. The results are a double-edged sword - Rathus' self-doubt can lead to second-guessing himself and stunting his capabilities, yet it can also allow for perfectionist level work - even if he still doesn't call it perfect.

Glass Half Empty (Personality Aspect)

Rathus Marr manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Rathus Marr will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Rathus Marr's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.

Dirty Fighter (Combat Aspect)

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Rathus Marr? Rathus Marr doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Rathus Marr, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Rathus Marr isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Rathus Marr won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Rathus Marr will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.

Always Prepared (Combat Aspect)

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Rathus Marr takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Rathus Marr tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
