A Rodian of advancing age, Haran's skin has begun to fade from the bright, saturated greens of his youth to a more muted and dignified olive drab. Likewise, as he has reached the autumn of his life, the vibrissa mohawk running along the crest of his head has lengthened and grown darker, lending him an almost wild and disheveled appearance by human standards, although a Rodian would regard such changes as distinguished. While the customary swagger of youth has begun to give way to a slouched stature, Haran remains an impressive figure, tall for a Rodian (and a pilot), with a well muscled torso and an aggressively oriented, obviously alert pair of antennae, which stands in stark contrast to the subtle black glaze which has begun to take over his eyes.
Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Haran "Ji" Urr retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
Haran "Ji" Urr does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Haran "Ji" Urr will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Haran "Ji" Urr around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
Haran "Ji" Urr has a military background, and draws upon his experience to tackle the obstacles in his life. This makes him decisive, efficient, and fearless; provides him with a strong sense of duty and strength; which tends to influence his ability to fight and lead. However, a rigid mind is less compassionate towards individuals and less imaginative, and Haran "Ji" Urr sometimes risks appearing callous, relatable, or incapable of compromising.
Haran "Ji" Urr prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
If Haran "Ji" Urr had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Haran "Ji" Urr will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Haran "Ji" Urr's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts him into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While he may not be the one to always start a fight, he will always see it through to it’s conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Haran "Ji" Urr initiates or accepts a challenge, he does not hold back.
