To those unfamiliar with the Shistavanen species, Wulver must appear as a half-breed between a man and a wolf. When standing bipine, Amarok is just slightly above six feet; making him tall for his species. The canine humanoid appears to have glowing red eyes dominating his face above a prononced muzzle with long, pointed teeth directly below them and with a short but furry beard covering his jawline. Dark brown fur covers his body and pointed ears top his head while his hands and feet both have long claws.
Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Wulver Amarok has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.
This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.
Wulver Amarok loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.
Wulver Amarok doesn't like conflict; so he tries to avoid it whenever possible, both in terms of combat, and interpersonal relations.
Wulver Amarok has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to himself, relying on deception to conceal his motives and intentions. He is a schemer, and plots and plans against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, he will try and bluff his way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.
While Wulver Amarok avoids combat whenever possible, he has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Wulver Amarok has trained himself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Wulver Amarok almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.
Wulver Amarok's passion for technology extends beyond his talent with Slicing. He truly believes that wars can be won with technology, not soldiers, and will always try to avoid direct combat if he can afford it. Instead, he prefers to deploy clever traps with Explosives, or turn technology against others as a weapon. Wulver Amarok would rather overload a circuit breaker to shock a guard into submission than to test his luck with his hands or a blaster. If removed from technology or his gadgets, however, Wulver Amarok can easily be overwhelmed. Fortunately, he has no qualms with throwing a smoke grenade down and running for dear life.
