Talon Jade has both been there and done that. he thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Talon Jade and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.

Talon Jade can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Talon Jade in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Talon Jade will be there for them.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Talon Jade's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Talon Jade has a military background, and draws upon his experience to tackle the obstacles in his life. This makes him decisive, efficient, and fearless; provides him with a strong sense of duty and strength; which tends to influence his ability to fight and lead. However, a rigid mind is less compassionate towards individuals and less imaginative, and Talon Jade sometimes risks appearing callous, relatable, or incapable of compromising.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Talon Jade takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Talon Jade tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Talon Jade has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Talon Jade then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Talon Jade has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
