If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Rhent Ghosen thinks he can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Rhent Ghosen, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. He has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and his confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if he fails to fix something, he is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.

Rhent "Goose" Ghosan has a unique and efficient working relationship with his old friend and colleague Telaris "Mav" Cantor. Due to their time together a friendly bond has been fostered. Indeed, due to Mav being the person who recruited Ghosan to the Dark Brotherhood, "Goose" sees Mav more as a friend and boss than as a powerful faction leader to be feared. This friendship is seen as a threat by many, who are jealous of this relationship and seek to alienate the two from each other.

Rhent Ghosen considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsession with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Rhent Ghosen to relax and enjoy spending time with others. He excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.

Despite his line of work, Rhent Ghosen still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Rhent Ghosen only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Rhent Ghosen takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Rhent Ghosen tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

While Rhent Ghosen avoids combat whenever possible, he has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Rhent Ghosen has trained himself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Rhent Ghosen almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.
