After 25 years of torment of neglect, Katrea accepted her death. When Xuner Holst rescued her from that gutter in the streets of an Onderonian city, her spirit was renewed and ignited a sense of burning passion that revolves around him. She owes her second chance at life to Xuner Holst having developed an overtly zealous, yet unhealthy attachment to him, with a complete shift in her demeanor when around him, never once questioning his decisions. When he leaves, she reverts to two forms, with the former being more prevalent than the other. The first is reverting to a near mute-state as she communicates through her skill in Telepathy. The other is during a stressful time as a complete mental and physical shutdown regressing into a pure anxiety-riddled muttering catatonic state of paranoia.

25 years of abuse and neglect has left Katrea with no sense of trust in everybody save for both Xuner and, to a certain extent, Vesh. Bordering upon paranoia, Katrea makes every attempt to avoid any form of physical and confrontational interaction with anybody that isn't Xuner. Upon Xuner's request, Katrea has made a concentrated effort to alleviate this problem. While she is open to communicating and sharing her thoughts about any particular subject, any personal topic between herself and Xuner will be instantly shut down, resulting in her unwillingness to communicate further.

Despite her line of work, Katrea still sees herself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those she does not know. Katrea only lets the mask slip to show her more laid back nature to those she trusts. To those she dislikes, she will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what she might be offending.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Katrea's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Katrea vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that she has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.

Katrea will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, she will stick to the shadows or cloak themselves in the Force. The less they are seen the better. If they cannot sneak up on someone, then Katrea will not bother confronting them.
