Murr has a somewhat blueish tone to his skin compared to other Ithorians. His head is thin with a concave shape leading up to his dark, brown eyes, which are spread further apart than average. Both his mouths are wide and curved downward along his rather slim hump of a neck.
Standing on the taller side of his species, Murr's build is slender, but athletic for his size. His hands, however, are a bit small, though each of his fingers are as long and spindly as one might expect.
Murr Awaan's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. He has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of his own. This allows Murr Awaan to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to him solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question Murr Awaan's alternative practices. He typically brushes them off in favor of doing everything he can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.
When Murr Awaan does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Murr Awaan's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Murr Awaan is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Murr Awaan to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Murr Awaan can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Murr Awaan prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Murr Awaan has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
Murr Awaan, like most of his peers, has trained with a blaster though, just like any weapon, hates to use it. Instead, when forced to fight, Murr Awaan will use his surgical scalpels and anesthetics (poisons) to attempt to injure and incapacitate opponents. This requires him to get extremely close to his attackers and leaves him vulnerable to more maritally-inclined fighters and ranged specialists.
