Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Ranarr Kul-Tarentae retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.

Ranarr Kul-Tarentae doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Ranarr Kul-Tarentae sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Ranarr Kul-Tarentae is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Ranarr Kul-Tarentae will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Ranarr Kul-Tarentae in a bit of trouble.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Ranarr Kul-Tarentae's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Ranarr Kul-Tarentae doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Ranarr Kul-Tarentae will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.
