Kiera Lankost is devoutly loyal to her House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. She would sacrifice her own life to protect her House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds her ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and she can come off as extremely narrow-minded.

Kiera Lankost's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. She has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of her own. This allows Kiera Lankost to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to her solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question Kiera Lankost's alternative practices. She typically brushes them off in favor of doing everything she can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Kiera Lankost's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Killing has never been a problem for Kiera Lankost; and she kind of enjoys it now, if she is honest. Killing's what Kiera Lankost does, and she likes what she does.

Without the gift of the Force, Kiera Lankost has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Kiera Lankost has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes her lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Kiera Lankost has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster her prowess in close-quarters combat, Kiera Lankost is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
