Patryak is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.

Patryak always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Patryak is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.

Patryak is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Patryak is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Patryak's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Without the gift of the Force, Patryak has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Patryak has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.

Fond of staying alive and prepared, Patryak keeps several bladed weapons hidden on his person at all times and in all different locations. Patryak switches these locations periodically in order to maintain an element of surprise even among his allies who know him. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that he is slower to draw one of these weapons if he forgets where he stashed them.
