Kel Cerar means Fortified Mountain in Mando'a so it is fitting that he is a heavily built and stocky figure; having a broad, barrel-shaped chest and thick, muscular limbs that speak of decades of intense combat and physical labor. His bald head is marked by a prominent scar that runs from his right temple to the back of his skull—a battle wound earned in his youth. His skin is weathered and lightly tanned and leathery from years spent in harsh environments. Deep-set, piercing gray eyes exude a fierce and unwavering gaze, often reflecting his no-nonsense attitude. His face bears several smaller scars, and his jaw is square and strong, often clenched in determination.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Kel Cerar. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Kel Cerar only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Kel Cerar to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Kel Cerar has both been there and done that. He thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Kel Cerar and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.
Kel Cerar is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.
Kel Cerar tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Kel Cerar prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Kel Cerar rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Kel Cerar is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Kel Cerar's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Without the gift of the Force, Kel Cerar has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Kel Cerar has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
