Crix Vao is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.

The Jedi are minimalists, but Crix takes this to the extreme in that even his attire reflects this. Typically wearing nothing but an outer-robe (tied in the middle) and flat-soled 'thong-styled' flops, his freedom of movement is exceptional. However, he lacks the protections that regular clothing or armors provide, thus making him a squishier target in comparison to his fully clothed brethren.

Crix Vao is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Crix Vao is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Crix Vao's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Preferring to distract his opponents before charging in headfirst, Crix will utilize Blinding, Slow/Stun, and Telekinesis in conjunction with one another to create openings. These skills have become integral in distracting or disorienting his opponents long enough to capitalize with hand-to-hand techniques. If for whatever reason they fail, or he is unable to properly close the gap he will be forced to fall back on his ranged attacks. Unfortunately, this can wear him down over time and sap his energy reserves making sustained attacks problematic.

Crix Vao possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Crix Vao does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
