Bearing dull purple skin and a tail due to her mixed Ryn heritage, Kerissa otherwise has the typical features of Kessurians, montrals, nub horns and elongated ears prominent. Her mottling is very dense across her cheeks, forehead and montrals before it spreads out the further from these areas it goes. She has a heart shaped face with high definied cheekbones, narrow chin, and dull grey eyes. While Kerissa has fur, it mostly resides on her tail and up the centre of her back, thinning out as it spreads outwardly and eventually coming to a stop across the backs of her upper arms and thighs. While naturally white, Kerissa has dyed her hair, kept long and down her back, well as her tail and other fur a bright pink. Only the new growth of the hair show the original colour.
Her body is compact, and other than long legs is otherwise quite proportional. Some burn scars marr her arms and lower legs, but otherwise Kerissa has no other distunguising markings.
Kerissa Monique is no greenhorn when it comes to dealing with those who wish her ill. At some point, she managed to cross the wrong people, and now they've got a mark on her hide for it. While such experiences have hardened her for adrenaline-filled moments of evading those who seek to make her their quarry, she can never be quite sure if she is truly safe, for promises of wealth or power can turn even the most seemingly stalwart of allies to enemies with knives poised at her back.
Learning to utilise the Dark Side of the Force at a young age has allowed Kerissa to excel at it, regardless of whether or not she would have chosen this path without that innate talent. She is incredibly comfortable with her power, yet understands that everything comes at a cost. Black veins begin to creep up her fingers when Kerissa delves into her power, numbing them, and threatening more than just her dexterity.
Kerissa can often be found researching alternative methods of leveraging the Force, though continues to struggle to find a direction that can take her off the path to her own demise.
Kerissa Monique considers her work to be the most important aspect of her life. This borderline obsession with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Kerissa Monique to relax and enjoy spending time with others. She excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Kerissa Monique's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
If Kerissa Monique had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. She almost always acts on instinct, which typically means she can be seen as impulsive and may not think her actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
Kerissa's connection with the Force is less straight-forward than she would like. Sometimes when calling on the Force in combative situations, or even just over-using it, she finds that other abilities she can do occur a few moments later. This could be as simple as floating too many plates around her and accidentally summoning an illusion of food laid out upon them, to the far more troublesome situation of calling upon Force Lightning during combat and finding herself connecting with the mind's of others soon after. Kerissa tries to exercise some control over these additional chaotic outbursts but has over time gotten used to rolling with whatever the Force has decided to do this time.
