Clem Fandango was not born to any single struggle for justice and self-determination. She's adopted all of them as her own. Clem has come to believe no single people or planet matters as much as the galaxy-wide pattern of resistance. This conviction makes her a gifted organizer and on-the-ground operative; she can give rousing speeches, coordinate propaganda campaigns, provide military discipline and tactical guidance, and any number of other means of support. But her focus on the larger cause means she might leave a fight if she believes she's needed elsewhere or abandon lovers and allies.

Between campaigns—or during their lower ebbs—Clem is known to indulge in vices related to substance abuse. She will easily bond with comrades over cheap spirits or questionable spices and stims. Even about her business, she never goes long without a deathstick or cigarra.

Whereas others might treat ideology as a tool for building coalitions, Clem Fandango is a true believer in a people's right to self-determination. She values the better world she fights for. She has strong beliefs on political theory and organizing strategy. Her sincerity and authenticity shines through, which adds to her effectiveness as an organizer and operative. However, the same conviction can make her a poor diplomat to those who don't share her politics. Sometimes, she struggles to distinguish compromise from betrayal of the cause.

Somewhere along the way, Clem introduced herself one too many times. Now, saying her name has become a sort of verbal tic she drops into conversation in moments that don't strictly call for it. No matter whether it's a tense standoff, a recruitment pitch, or a delicate negotiation, she'll punctuate a point with her own name and catchphrase: "Clem Fandango."
