A towering being with furrowed, ashen skin and red facial markings. Quejo was your typical Pau’an until the dark side, for centuries, proceeded to taint his appearance. His lithe frame is covered in Sith runic designs and is a true testament of his devotion to the Alchemical arts. The Ancient One once having grey eyes has allowed hatred to stoke the flames of his fleshly passions and desires, transforming them to golden orbs of corruption. The pupils themselves are black but each iris is gold and outlined with a blood red and are sunken into his gaunt face. His carnivorous teeth are sharp and his pentadactyl fingers and thumbs are gangly and tipped with long pointed nails. His hairless cranium is also equipped with ear coverings that are a durable black obsidian, also marked with the same symbolism as his tattoos.
For over a century, Quejo has dedicated most of his time learning the intricacies of the dark side and the art of the Alchemists that precede him. The accidental loss of his only child on Utapau has created an insatiable drive to reverse time. Being driven to the Unknown Regions, he returned with vast knowledge but it was never enough; in turn he chose to delve into alchemy to repair the damage. He can more often than not be found reading his collection of Ancient texts and obsessing over Sith Holocrons which have, in turn, twisted his mind. He utilizes what he finds whether the information comes with a warning or not. Proceeding with caution is out of the question and his reckless experiments have had costly outcomes, life is fragile but he continues to push the boundaries. Thus he has created an Aura of Fear around himself.
Spending most of his life in the sinkholes and caves of Utapau, Quejo is most comfortable submerged in darkness. This goes hand in hand with his dark persona but leaves him at a disadvantage when exposed to prolonged periods of light which he is always seeking to snuff out, in all of its forms. This has caused him to alienate himself from others as most can’t relate to his desires.
He is such a fan of darkness, he has extensively studied Blackness in an attempt to constantly shield himself in darkness. In fact it has become an obsession he has yet to Master.
Quejo carries himself with a pride that can be seen in his stature. However, unlike many Sith, he safeguards his emotions and is often quiet until it’s time to take charge with his natural Leadership. While he feels empowered when he is in control of a situation, Quejo can become flustered and enraged to the point of making hasty decisions which at times can negatively impact a mission or goal. In order to regain supremacy, he is not above throwing his comrades head first into the fire which makes many leary of his motives.
Being slightly over two centuries old. Quejo has done much in his life and carries himself with an archaic demeanor. He has long been an advisor of Clan Taldryan and was the very first Lorekeeper of the Clan; an honorific title for the keeper of secrets and protector of knowledge in its abundance. He has since passed on this title but is still seen as a valuable Clan asset and can often be found encouraging dark side growth in others. His ‘purist’ attitude is often off-putting to those who walk outside of his Order.
With a Debilitating Fear Quejo tends to use Terror to gain the upper hand, typically preferring to psyche out opponents at the start of battle. While he can utilize it during combat, it can be taxing on his energy reserves. To make up for it, with his sinister aura and appearance, he can also overpower and strike fear; but this also produces segregation as many will choose to avoid him entirely.
One of Quejo’s dearest friends is an ancient form best known as Trakata. In conjunction with Jar’Kai and Dun Moch he has found ways to use his Conversion Hilt Lightsaber to become unpredictable when dueling; typically utilizing taunts and ‘Blade disengage’ techniques. He is also known for disconnecting and reconnecting his Hilt at the middle in battle to further create confusion but can become overzealous when going for the finish and can leave unwanted openings due to his sporadic style.
