Quejo has the look of an Imperial. His face is narrow and bony, his grey eyes are sunken and beady and his face always harbors a scowl. To further accentuate his features is hair which is auburn in color and a large scar on the right side of his scalp which parts it. He also has a thin, trimmed beard which cradles his jawline. His hardened pale frame makes him an imposing figure with a purpose that is noticeable in his stance.
Beneath his Armor is scarred flesh. They are reminders of battles fought and won, his body, a war-torn canvas painted by his enemies. His chest and torso are covered in Sith tattoos, runes hidden from the unworthy; faded black and devilish by design
Born on Eriadu, the year of the Emperor's coronation, Quejo didn't grow up idolizing the Sith, he grew up idolizing Officers in the Imperial Navy. Graduating from the Academy himself, he developed his skills with Tactics, Piloting and Military Strategy. Succumbing to Imperial dogma he has become a purist and xenophobe, ideals that have spilled over into his Sith viewpoints. To many, this is off-putting. Especially to those outside of the human race.
After the fall of the Empire, the Imperials scattered throughout the Galaxy. Quejo, would become a nomad amongst the stars. For a short time he traveled the hyper-lanes, searching for answers to the churning deep within. Not long after, he would meet a Krath Priest called Ktulu Mizheray Xyler, a no nonsense kind of man who found Quejo to be strong in the Force, yet for many years it was dormant until the disarray of the Empire triggered its awakening.Training would soon follow and it would nearly break the Sensitive. His mental fortitude was hardened as was his body. This great potential and hunger for ascension caused rifts throughout the Brotherhood making Quejo develop enemies that still want his head to this day. His hunger has lead to trust issues within those outside of his Clan, they realize that if given the opportunity, Quejo would try to seize their power.
Quejo's mind is the most important weapon in his arsenal. He is extremely good with numbers and analyzes everything, at times maybe excessively. While he can figure out trajectories, angles, vectors and equations all within his head. He at times can be overly analytical which can cause him to see problems that aren't there to begin with. He can spend excessive amounts of energy solving non-existent problems and this can be tiresome for anyone involved.
Through service, he was made loyal, through loyalty he was taught, with knowledge he was made stronger. While young, Quejo was rewired by the Elders of the Brotherhood. Within him was great potential, a natural when it came to the dark arts. The Council, wise to capitalize, inducted him into the Grand Master's Royal Guard. With an already dutiful mindset, he fell into the role, ascending to the highest rank attainable within the Guard. Taught to "unlearn what he had learned", essentially reprogrammed, mentally and physically. Forced to break before they could rebuild. This created a no nonsense individual, remorseless and cold. Yet, while dutiful, within him stirs a hunger to achieve his own power, to transition from protector to Emporer. This shift in focus has disturbed the thoughts of those amongst the upper echelon of Brotherhood members. A Sith minded individual, starting to surface, has begun to cause unrest.
Having a solid build and typically donning cumbersome Armor, Quejo uses two forms which pair well with his structure and analytical mind. Makashi and Djem So gives him an edge when duelling while allowing him to keep his movement limited. Able to analyze angles and coordinate attacks, counterattacks, and parries on the fly. While he may appear to be an impenetrable fortress, the Bulwark is physically slower on the battlefield. This is due to his Heavy Armor and an increase in age.
Quejo Xyler is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has led him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
