Through the years, Orimis has created the Helix network. A motley group of individuals that specialize in information gathering and brokering. Secrets are sold to the highest bidder and while that may not sit well with the victims, the ones buying said information have determined that his skill-set is an invaluable one. With eyes and ears throughout the Galaxy, Orimis knows much, perhaps sometimes more than he should. This puts him at risk and can make him paranoid which has caused him to rarely stay in one place for too long, never knowing who he can truly confide in.

Few beings are as skilled with computer systems as Helix. Knowing the ins and the outs, the tricks of the Slicing trade, he has made a living from getting into places he doesn't belong. A walking security breach, He is an unknown terrorist. A virus to the unwitting, creeping in to take control. It's become a necessity and an obsession. If technology deprivation ever becomes an issue he gets anxious. For in times of failure, if a System is beyond his skills, or if he's caught trying to break-in, he is often forced into brief periods of seclusion. 'Ghosting' or temporarily going off the grid to avoid getting traced. These are highly stressful times that increase his need for drink and further alienates him from social interactions. He will lose out on jobs and his flow of credits can slow to a crawl, thus creating the potential for disastrous consequences.

Born into wealth, Orimis is the product of political dominance and bureaucracy. His parents were high status pacifistic Mandalorian's who dwelled in the Imperial sector of Coruscant. He was born in the center of the Galaxy, to people who believed they were the center of the universe so naturally he developed very selfish tendencies and an appetite for the finer things in life. He rarely acts without a motive and his primary motivation is wealth, status, influence and ultimately power through knowledge. An ambitious man, he only seeks to better himself and cares little for the opinions of others.

Orimis Helix is often confused and heavily saddened by the amount of idiocy that constantly surrounds him. It is often much easier for Orimis Helix to cope with people by ensuring he stays inebriated and dulling his senses. When unable to find alcohol for an extended period of time, Orimis Helix will devolve into a ravenous, hate-filled monster that is nigh impossible to be around. In other words, Orimis Helix is an addict.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Orimis Helix? Orimis Helix doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Orimis Helix, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Orimis Helix isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Orimis Helix won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Orimis Helix will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.

Extremely charming on the outside but conniving on the inside, Orimis has learned the subtleties and importance of Diplomacy and Manipulation. Able to bury deep his own secrets and intentions, many of his so-called 'friends' are in reality associates. This has allowed him to leverage opportunities and blackmail for gains. If his two-faced facade is stripped bare there's not much left but an IT Tech with a Blaster and a drinking problem. There have been times where his manipulations have back-fired beyond anticipation or his 'negotiations' fell flat. He has been arrested in the past, has gotten into fights, and has broken the trust of a few he's legitimately cared for because of his deceptive nature. Some say talk is cheap and it's those people he often has to work harder to coerce. A Word-Smith can easily be rendered useless by a closed ear.
