A member of the Human species, Aarush is magnificent in appearance; the embodiment of perfection. His ivory skin is smooth and without blemish but his torso and legs are scarred from his masochistic tendencies. His body is lean with solid musculature and he has a sturdy frame. His eyes are as blue as the skies of Helios and his hair is as golden as its Sun, kept short on the sides but swept upwards on the top as if it were caught in a constant breeze. A clean shaven and defined jawline gives him a regal quality and his proportionate face is often smug as he looks down on others. Extremely hygienic, he takes pride in his looks as he has been blessed with an exquisite gene pool.
Considered a prized physical specimen to the women of Helios, Solaar's attitude and internal struggle to kowtow to the Matriarchal government body was a product of him not achieving the prestige he desperately sought and thought he deserved. While growing up dominated by the women of his province, he was made to feel inferior in every way. Thus, he defied the Matriarch's laws and refused to bend the knee. To avoid death, he fled from the Aurnia Province, hoping to amass an Army in the Patriarchal Territories. Way of life under the rule of men was a major culture shock. To this day, he attempts to show dominance over men, especially in the presence of women. His burning rage causes him to lash out at men but his abused mind creates a schemer when dealing with females.
Extremely manipulative, Aarush, for much of his young life found refuge in Solomus; the Patriarchal Province of Helios. In an attempt to learn through action, he beguiled the men who were more primitive than the women of his world. He proclaimed to be their deity incarnate, a Sun God named Solaar. Through Illusions and Manipulation he was able to trick the men into worshipping him for his own sadistic pleasure. He would put his skills to the test not only to the unwitting tribes but to himself. His egocentric seeds bloomed into narcissism. A reflection of his true self. Few can stomach his conceited demeanor. For those able to see through his facade are more often than not turned off by his arrogance.
Extremely arrogant and headstrong, Aarush has a 'God-complex' and often puts himself on a pedestal so high that he can look down on those around him. His ability to manipulate and lie has opened the door to learning when others are trying to do the same to him. He is able to adjust his personality accordingly. This skill has served him well but has also cut him off from any meaningful relationships. In his self-centered world, most of his friendships or relationships have been built on deception as his motive is to secure power for himself with no desire to share it with anyone.
Aarush hates the darkness, coming from a planet with a very short night cycle; so much so that he has extensively studied the Blinding technique and is searching for ways to illuminate the darkness permanently. His attempts to radiate light have fallen flat but his desire has turned into an unhealthy obsession.
Aarush is so in love with his own image that if any harm befalls his face, he will go into a fit of panic fueled rage. While his body is scarred, his face is immaculate. Under no circumstance will his God complex allow him to put his visual appearance in jeopardy. This is why he prefers applying his extensive knowledge of ranged Force powers, typically falling back on his Lightsaber in times of need. His favorite Force techniques are Force Lightning and Telekinetic Strikes. In close quarters combat, while he isn't disadvantaged when it comes to skill, he is mentally disadvantaged as he tends to become paranoid and uncomfortable. This can have lasting effects on his psyche and confidence.
One of Solaar's dearest friends is an ancient form best known as Trakata. In conjunction with Jar’Kai he has found ways to use his Conversion Hilt Lightsaber to become unpredictable when dueling; typically utilizing taunts and ‘Blade disengage’ techniques. He is also known for disconnecting and reconnecting his Hilt at the middle in battle to further create confusion but can become overzealous when going for the finish and can leave unwanted openings due to his sporadic style.
