An imposing figure, Corvo is built thick and lean, having the toned musculature of a seasoned soldier. Typically onboard starships or confined in armor, he has a ghostly pale epidermis that has received countless scars over the course of his militaristic career. His head is kept shaved to the scalp and the only hair found on it is the rough stubble adorning his rigid jaw, thick and furrowed black brows and the lashes which protect his icy blue eyes.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Corvo. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Corvo only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Corvo to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Corvo has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Corvo downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
Corvo has a military background, and draws upon his experience to tackle the obstacles in his life. This makes him decisive, efficient, and fearless; provides him with a strong sense of duty and strength; which tends to influence his ability to fight and lead. However, a rigid mind is less compassionate towards individuals and less imaginative, and Corvo sometimes risks appearing callous, relatable, or incapable of compromising.
Corvo is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.
Corvo is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has led him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
Corvo possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Corvo does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
