An insectoid species, Rorot is your typical Gand in appearance. He is brown in color with a short and stocky build encased in a hardened carapace devoid of any form of hair. He has large silver compound eyes set in a bulbous cranium lined with deep ridges. Adding to his already unique appearance are three fingered hands and two toed feet. Equipped with a respirator that siphons ammonia into his lungs, the apparatus itself is bulky with an array of hoses that lead into a circular metal mask over his mouth; bearing the symbols of his people. These hoses connect to two tanks/rebreathers which are worn horizontally on either side of his waist.
Rorot doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Rorot sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Rorot. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Rorot only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Rorot to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Rorot doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Rorot two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Rorot often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be the line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.
Rorot rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Rorot is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Rorot is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.
Rorot works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Rorot has learned to not take jabs about his stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for his inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Rorot's discipline of never overestimating his own abilities or those of his opponents. He has trained to fully utilize his size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. He knows exactly how to leverage his weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Rorot becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
When Rorot gets in trouble, he finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that he tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for his compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made him the most popular among his peers, but hey, at least Rorot isn't dead yet.
