Morvyn is a tall, athletic Togruta with smooth, dusky bronze skin and deep amethyst eyes set beneath sharp, angular features. His montrals and lekku are dark with subtle natural mottling. Several faint scars lay across the lower half of his face. His right arm is missing just below his elbow. It is replaced by a refined mechanical prosthetic. Overall, he has an athletic and fit build.
Morvyn grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Morvyn bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Morvyn has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless if it compromises his objective.
Morvyn sees himself as the control subject in the science experiment called life. Often labeled as "boring" and "predictable", Morvyn keeps his wild and experimental side reserved for pet projects. This boring lifestyle leads to him being considered anti-social and when he does join others, instead of relaxing he prefers to keep quiet and observe.
Morvyn is not afraid to exploit any advantage or position of power he has when dealing with others, and relies on a combination of fear, intimidation, manipulation and shows of strength to convince others to compromise and lose. Morvyn can be quite callous in his dealings with others, and never gives up his power. This has earned Morvyn with the reputation of a “bully” and can often make negotiations difficult before they even begin.
All who gain power are afraid to lose it, and Morvyn is no exception. Some use their power for good, some for evil; Morvyn, however, knows that these are just points of view. He is on a quest for greater power, and uses all his skills and abilities to ensure his supremacy, regardless of the consequences.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Morvyn? Morvyn doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Morvyn, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Morvyn isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Morvyn won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Morvyn will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Morvyn commits to combat with the intent to end it quickly and decisively. Once violence begins, he applies escalating pressure and fully commits rather than thinks ahead. While this makes him highly effective in direct confrontations, it can also lead him to overextend, attract unwanted attention, or escalate situations that could have been resolved through strategy, misdirection, or by pulling back. This tends to complicate missions and objectives where restraint or subtlety would have served better.
