Arlo Larosh is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.

Arlo Larosh always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Arlo Larosh is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.

Arlo Larosh would much rather be behind a hand of good sabacc cards or a rare vintage of aged liquor than with his blasters or ship. More often than not, he will spend nights at high-end establishments gambling, drinking and "socializing". Arlo Larosh can survive without the finer things, but he sure would rather not. This preference follows him onto the job, so it is not uncommon for Arlo Larosh to insult a client or potential partner by commenting on their choice of beverage or recreation.

Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Arlo Larosh has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about his situation, or to taunt his enemies. While some find Arlo Larosh to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Arlo Larosh will get himself into more trouble than he thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with thorough martial arts training. Arlo Larosh has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Arlo Larosh is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.

Arlo Larosh seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Arlo Larosh. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
