Arawyn Kir grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Arawyn Kir bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Arawyn Kir has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless if it compromises his objective.

Arawyn Kir's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Arawyn Kir has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Arawyn Kir a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...

Arawyn Kir considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsession with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Arawyn Kir to relax and enjoy spending time with others. He excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.

Arawyn Kir is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Arawyn Kir to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Arawyn Kir can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.

Arawyn Kir has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Arawyn Kir is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Arawyn Kir has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Arawyn Kir then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Arawyn Kir has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
