[Homecoming] New Arenas (ACC Venue)

Objective: Using a text editor program, design and write a Venue for the ACC, based on a world in the Kiast System. The Venue must introduce the ambiance and setting on the location, without including story. Images of the Venue are not necessary and won’t be considered for grading, but can be included.

How to Submit: Any common text processing file type. No google doc links, please download as PDF and submit via the site.

Important Additional Information: Depending on quality, this Venue may be used in the ACC system for use later. You may submit more than one Venue, but only your highest scoring Venue will count for your placement.

Describe what the venue would like in a travel catalog. You want to touch on the climate, temperature and weather patterns, as well as other unique elements like landmarks or formations like caves or temples. What kind of things would you run into on said planet? Wild life (Rancors, Loth cats, R.O.U.S) and dangers (quicksand, poison ivy, dark energy)? Do not include language like “you notice that you are not alone as footsteps appear behind you.” We are working on Scenario Venues separately, and want to keep Venues as objectively descriptive as possible.

Include images that help display what the Venue looks like. Credit your source. (We will convert the images into our Unified Template and cite the source for proper image credit).

Named in honor of Emperor Taslem Anasaye, the present complex dates to the reconstruction at the end of the war with the Vauzem Dominion under Taslem's daughter, Kaltani. The facility is a dizzying, if elegant, array of docks, mooring towers, and hangers for the Empire's vast fleet of military and commercial [airships](https://wiki.darkjedibrotherhood.com/view/Airship_(Kiast)).

The superstructure encloses a vast area, well over a kilometer deep and almost as tall. At the top layer, up to four of the great Man of Wars loom above you, with dozens of smaller craft hovering below. Catwalks stretch out in every direction like the strands of a spider's web, and technicians and maintenance crew scurry about. The gently rolling clouds of Kiast's lethal lower atmosphere stretch out below you, and if you crane your neck you can just barely see the giant repulsorlifts that keep [Voraskel Palace](https://wiki.darkjedibrotherhood.com/view/Kiast_(Planet)#Voraskel_Palace) afloat. The constant movement of loading cranes, munitions, and personnel - to say nothing of the airships themselves - proves equally threatening to unwary visitors.

Temperature: 200+ degrees Fahrenheit
Terrain: Mountainous with vast oceans of sulfuric acid all around the outcropping of land selected for mining.
Weather: High pressure and sudden highly acidic rainstorms.
Notes: Tectonic tonic plates in the summertime are much more active and can lead to violent earthquakes. Due to the weather and terrain, a very heavy EV suit is required which will encumber whoever choses to duel on this location.
