Event:

Tragedy has struck Clan Plagueis. The Dread Lord has made a call to arms. Plagueis forces are preparing for war on Aliso. The Inquisitorius agent assigned to Clan Plagueis, Crandl Lorne, has delivered intelligence to the Plagueis Summit which indicates that the attack was a devastating first strike against a perceived imminent threat by a mysterious remnant faction of the former Galactic Empire. In response, the Dread Lord has made arrangements to descend upon the enemy with the full force of the Plagueis military might. Each house has been individually tasked with exercising their might - their areas of expertise - in this act of retribution.

A Call to Arms is a house versus house feud within Clan Plagueis. Each week different competitions will be lined up for everyone to participate in. At the end the house with the most points earned by its members will emerge victorious with all the bragging rights that go along with it!

Scoring:

Each individual will earn five points per event they participate in. Participation is defined a valid submission for an event. Simply signing up for an event or uploading an unqualified submission will not count. You have to put in the effort in order to receive the reward. Participation will earn 5 points.

Additionally, the top three individuals in each event will earn placement modifier points. First place will earn 3 points, second place will earn 2 points, and third place will earn 1.5 points. Events themselves will have modifiers based off their perceived difficulty/level of effort required. For example: the modifier for fiction will be 3, modifier for gaming will be 2, and no modifier will be added to puzzle and trivia events.

Grading formula: (Placement Score * Event Modifier) + Participation = Event Score

At the end of the competition, the individual scores for all three weeks will be added up, and the top three individuals will earn crescents for the overall competition.
