In this fiction, depict one key moment from your character's teenage years. Then, explain how this moment helped make them the character they are today. A teenager is species dependent so I won't put a number on it, but anytime from pre-teen years to anytime before your character is young adult.

Note: This is the second part of the Core Memories Trilogy, so feel free to write each part with a trilogy in mind. I will be grading each part of the trilogy separate from the others, but it would be a great writing exercise to weave the three parts together like a real trilogy.
