Your trials as a student in the Shadow Academy can be difficult, if not impossible. Many turn to someone (or something) that can act as their friend, sounding board, cheerleader, or combination thereof. How did you/do you cope with the stresses of life in the Shadow Academy? Who (or what) got you through those tough assignments, difficult exams, or potentially life-threatening situations?

This competition is designed for Novitiates and Journeymen only. All entrants must be JM4 (Knight, etc.) or below at the time that they submitted their entry. All other entries will be disqualified and will not receive credit for the competition.

This competition will be judged using the standard Voice fiction rubric and may be serious, comedic, or somewhere in between in nature. All entries must be in text form uploaded to the competition (Word document, PDF, etc.); links to GoogleDocs will not be accepted. Minimum word count for this competition is 500 words, with a maximum of 2000.
