Scoring: Minimum of 15 lines of poetry required. Free prose is not allowed, must follow some form of rhyme or poetry style (e.g. 5 Haiku, or an ABAB Rhyme style).

Grading will be based upon poetic composition, adherence to the prompt, and creativity of the poem.

Home

What once was an area of safety
Death has come home to all
Without any hope of surety
Many of the might will fall

On a hundred planets and moons
They have fought and bled for the clan
Lost their home to a group of bufoons
Now it is time to take it back with their plan

The palace is the ultimate end
Loyalists must their ranks fill
They must break not bend
Their staunch opposition's will

Fallax has usurped the throne
Xen may perish if it goes bad
Legacy may put him under a stone
Many of the clan will ultimately be sad

Victory is the only end game
The troopers and warriors will maim
Many new faces will reach fame
If Xen dies it will be such a shame.

Fallax how we hate thee
Every day and night
Your guts we hate you see
You truly are a blight.

You stole our leaders body
When he viewed that relic
We search for somebody
To come remove your acrylic

Painting on the walls
No one likes what you do
Dancing through our halls
When people see you they scream “boooo”

Soon you will be dead to us
With or without Xen
Your death is a lot of fuss
But fix we will what has been.
