Week Five of Alaris' Fiction Series

We're breaking the format for this week and ignoring the minimum word count. I'd like a Shakespearean Sonnet from you. Iambic Pentametre is encouraged, but not at all required for this competition. The rhyming scheme is as follows (abab) (cdcd) (efef) (gg). That must be adhered to or your entry will not be considered for placement. Due to the nature of poetry, these will be graded solely on creativity.

The theme I'd like you to follow is isolation. The Taldryan fleet is isolated in space with no home to return to.

As we wander through the void
Left for dead by the dogs of war
Thinking of the home that was destroyed
And cursing our enemies for whom we abhor

The embrace of deep space is cold
Yet the fires of Karufr are still alight
We search the stars for a new foothold
While our enemies refuse to end the fight

Like Tusken's on the Tatoonine sand
Our fleet wanders the celestials dunes
At some point we must claim new land
For we can not be forever strewn

Our Clan is alone but it shall not last
We shall relclaim our glory past.
