Competition: Kadne's Escape

Tarentum's unwilling smuggler ally, Kadne Jax, has been captured by the Seekers of the Light in Eden City! They have begun questioning her about somebody called Jahad Kard, but she has no idea who that is. In this competition, please write a story about how she escapes from the Seekers and return to Tarentum.

Stories should be a minimum of 250 words in length (about one page). Please submit in any popular word processing format such as Word or PDF. If you write in Google Docs please export it as a PDF and submit that rather than a link. The winning story will become House canon and will be included in our official Mortis fiction. Stories will be graded using the standard fiction rubric.
