Competition: Get down and give me 20!

We've all felt the wrath of our overseer as new recruits. Maybe our performance was sub par that day. Perhaps we forgot to wear pants to lightsaber training and told the instructor it was a new Dun Moch technique. Whatever it was, our leader made sure we never made the same mistake again.

Prompt:

Write a fiction at least 500 words in length - no maximum - that details what your character had done, as a new recruit, to warrant the reprimand they got. Be sure to explain both, the error they made and the punishment they received.
