Ways of the Force: The Light

Abstract art can be utilized and performed by literally anyone.

You don’t need any particular form of experience or knowledge to express yourself through abstract art.

Because you are not necessarily attempting to capture any particular likeness in abstract art, true freedom can be enjoyed. Don't be afraid to step out and try something new while you draw, paint, sketch, etc.

Objective: You will be prompted to create a piece of abstract art based on the Light Side of the Force. What colors resonate with your characters' opinion to the light? Is it something they cherish or abhor? Express what the Light Side of the Force looks like to you personally. You can do this through watercolors, acrylics, sketching, sketchbook, markers, whatever medium you wish.

Grading: All entries will be graded with this criteria rubric

How to Submit:

Submit through the site. Formats: .png, .jpg. Feel free to include an explanation of your art. However, it is not required.

"Light Side of the Force: A Light in the Darkness"

Nature really inspired this one. Combined the white-core part of a lightsaber blade with the coloration of the aurora borealis while originally making it look like the light being viewed from inside a cave.
The force flows through all, like the aurora flowing through the darkness of night as a current of light. Therefore, this is my representation of the light side of the Force.
