Poem: Haiku
Title: War and Hope

Loss is hard to face.
First, the hole left by sadness,
then comes the anger.

We tell ourselves, "No!"
"No, this won't happen again."
But it will one day.

Why do we still fight?
We fight for all our loved ones.
And we fight for hope.

Flashes of red and green within space over planet Edrien.
There is a war against the Iron Navy.
For Clan Udan-Urr comes to aide Clan Taldryan.
A hope for a victory, and to avenge those that had lost their lives.

Written in Free Verse form.

Stars shimmer in and out,
Was it a ship or just a sun?
Bright and loud and burning hot,
No place that we can run.

Turn and flee another day,
and dream another night,
of peace and hope and a better way.
In sleep we cannot fight.

The time has come to stand ground,
Defending what is just.
The truth will always set you free,
In the Lotus we trust.
