Competition: [COU] Deeper Look Fiction Comp

A deeper look or reflection upon one's self is often required, and sometimes unexpectedly thrown upon someone. A recent battle with pirates has left your ship stranded in the endless space, and your life support slowly depleting. Luckily, you know that your allies are coming to rescue you from this terrible predicament. It will be a few hours before they can get to you, and so you are left there with nothing more than your mind. But at least the view of debris, stars, and the occasional cadaver floating by can be seen.

How do you keep your sanity for the time you are alone? Do you panic or do you maintain calmness?

Instructions: -Submission must be 500 words or more to be eligible. -Clusters of Ice will be awarded as standard, scaling with the length of the submission. -Entries will be graded using the Voice Fiction Rubric. -Submissions must be in either a .pdf or a Word document.
