Where the other units of Joint Task Force Satele Shan have their sights on the Iron Throne, the Collective and the other external enemies of the Clan, Tython Squadron fixes its gaze inwards, to the threats within. Being the internal covert police of the JTF means questioning the loyalty of every friend and ally, and this takes a strain on the Squad. They take heart and find purpose in their difficult endeavour by turning back from the interstellar wars and looking inwards to what they protect: the Kiast system and its inhabitants. Never again will Odan-Urr betray the trust of the life it is charged to protect. But the Squad also knows what enemy destroyed New Tython. Fear, anger, hate; these they recognise as the greatest foe when they look within themselves.
