Competition: [CSP] Expansion Phase 2 Poetry: Ballard of the Beaches

Context:

The hour is late and the drinks are cold. Many of those filling the bar have returned from the battle, but absent are the friends and comrades who fell upon the beaches. Yet, a song starts to fill the bar detailing the glory of the event.

Task:

Create a ballad, or just simply a drinking song, depicting the actions of the members of Scholae Palatinae during the recent expansion of the Empire. An example is the IRA song: The Boys of the Old Bridge
