Competition: [Spectre Cell] Clean Up Crew

[Spectre Cell] Clean Up Crew

Barely even reformed, Spectre Cell still has to deal with the lingering remnants of Nighthawk and the Great Jedi War. A number of situations have begun to develop, all of which require the intervention of Spectre Cell. The team has decided to split it’s forces, dispatching specialized team members to deal with each problem. Write a fiction about your character undertaking one of the following missions, either alone or with others.

Humanitarianism

Disaster has struck a planet on the edge of Arconan space, dangerously destabilizing it. A virulent plague has appeared and overtaken the planet’s population, infecting vast numbers of people. The local government has placed the planet under quarantine, but the devastation is so severe that they are powerless to help their people. The cause of the plague is unknown, but it was almost certainly not natural.

A previously unknown humanitarian organization known as the United Medical Corps has dispatched a convoy to the planet, claiming to have synthesized a cure for the disease. An investigation by the Dajorra Intelligence Agency has uncovered evidence that the United Medical Corps may be a front for The Collective. If true, the distribution of this cure would be a devastating propaganda campaign for The Collective, and potentially secure them the planet’s loyalty.

The chance of this happening to a planet so close to Arcona’s border has been deemed unacceptable. Spectre Cell has been ordered to intercept and stop the medical convoy.

Picking up the Pieces

Prior to the last Great Jedi War, the Nighthawk was destroyed in a surprise ambush by enemy forces. With the appearance of the Collective threat Arcona was unable to salvage the ship’s wreckage, but now that the war is over it has become a significant concern for the clan. Sensitive, classified data potentially remains in the Nighthawk's databanks, and could compromise the clan. A fleet has been assembled to visit the debris field and recover the wreckage of the ship, but will take some time to arrive. Spectre Cell has been ordered to go ahead of the main fleet and secure the Nighthawk’s computer systems.

Scavengers may have already taken to the debris field in the time it has been left unattended. Furthermore, it’s possible The Collective or another hostile force may have already sent a mission to recover the wreckage before we could so. For that reason, Spectre Cell has been advised to travel armed and ready for combat.

Paperclip

During the last Great Jedi War, The Collective demonstrated a technological superiority that caught the Brotherhood by surprise. Not wishing this feat to be repeated, Arcona has made it a policy to acquire bits and pieces of Collective tech wherever it can. Recently, information has come to light that a former Collective scientist, a Durosian woman named Tintu Vel, is hiding out on Nar Shaddaa with her family. Acquiring her services would be of great benefit to the clan.

The Dajorra Intelligence Agency believes that the scientist’s cover has already compromised, and it’s possible that other groups have already been dispatched to acquire her. Spectre Cell has been ordered to recruit the scientist into Arcona, by any means necessary. If she cannot be recruited for our benefit, the team has been ordered to ensure that no one else can recruit her either.
