Competition: Star Wars Workout Challenge

Finished
Star Wars Workout Challenge

Task:

Some people have really fit characters, some less so, and others not at all. But every once in a while someone challenges your character to the workout of the day. This could be a mental or physical exercise. Maybe it's a Force-based exercise, maybe its completely physical or maybe its a mix. This NOT limited to traditional workouts.

Your task is to create that workout of the day, preferably with SW themes, and enter it in the submission box below.

Think of this as a challenge for your character to show off what they are made. Optionally, It could have an element of fun to it, whether it be competitive fun or some other definition of fun (pranks, poking fun at, running for your life, etc..). Feel free to break out puns even. The best workouts based on the grading criteria below might just make it into an IC workout regimen. :)

Grading Criteria:

Grading will be based on the following: 30% Creativity, 50% Content, 20% Humor. To clarify, content does NOT mean a workout that must please Hilda the gym coach in thoroughness and realism. Experts get no advantage here. Content refers to all the other stuff like the inclusion of SW themes, readability, and how well the workout paints a picture in my mind of what the character is going through.

One of Turel Sorenn's workouts (with IC commentary)

- Dynamic warmup - "Stretching is important, especially as one gets older. Focus your mind on the flows of the Force and start applying those control self techniques to dull the aches and pains. Failing that a little bit of Corellian whiskey will loosen you. A LITTLE BIT, we're talking less than a shot. You don't want to throw up in the gym or all over your wife's meditation grove"
- 500 meter run - "I hate running, always have. But running saves your life. Continue to focus on the Force but don't use any amplification here this is just to warm up"
- Do a set of the following:
- 25 Pull-ups
- 50 Push-ups
- 75 Squats (Use TK to levitate a large rock while you do this to practice focus, it will get harder as you work through the sets)
"You'll be very tempted to cheat using the Force here but don't, FEEL THE BURN....who am I kidding, if you aren't cheating you aren't trying. But try to knock out each set in the shortest time possible. Also, keep your focus during the squats and don't accidently fling the rock through someone's window....not that I've done that."
- 1000 meter run - "More time to clear your head and possibly flee the scene if you ignored my advice and broke a window."
- Repeat the set of 25/50/75 - "Go to your happy place"
- 1000 meter run - "Use amplification if you need to help your stamina"
- Have your combat droid ambush you randomly after the second set and fight him off using your lightsaber. "A Jedi should always be prepared to fight for their live, even when they are winded. Or so I've been told."
- Finish the run and/or set you were working on before you were ambushed.
- Dynamic cooldown "oh, you think you're done? Now go spar with someone, that will really give you the feel of combat!"

My first port of call is to stretch my limbs starting with my arms working through to my legs, secondly I clear my mind and focus on the necessary feats that I need to accomplish. I begin with 3 force jumps each increasing in height in mid air hiring the 3rd jump I rotate my leg around into a tornado kick landing front part of one foot. My next exercise would be sabre training starting of by throwing my sabre at a rapidly moving target going backwards and forwards thus varying the distance, to finish this exercise I close my eyes and severe the target in 2 with a vertical slash. The next part of my routine is to meditate, and signal for practise droids to enter the training hall with there blasters on rapid fire the aim in this exercise is to redirect enemy fire using the force, I flex my left hand and imagine where I want the blasts to go and focus I alternate between hands several times. My final exercise is to wake up and realise that I’m too lazy for this and get a burger.
