Competition: Stemming the Tide

Day by day, the violence in Ol’val grows as a shadowy group seeks to displace the Blindman and his gang from the asteroid. Since the Blindman’s gang is the front for House Qel-Droma, this cannot be allowed to happen!

Pick from the following three prompts and write a story about your character addressing it. You may pick more than one prompt if you choose to.

The Prompts

• Removing the Enemy: The only good enemy is a dead enemy. Write a fiction depicting your character dispensing street justice to those gangs who have risen up against Qel-Droma.
• The Diplomatic Approach: Whallata’s war against Qel-Droma left a number of gangs decimated, and our numbers could stand to be bolstered. Write a fiction depicting your character bringing outside gangs into the fold.
• Solving the Mystery: Someone is arming the thugs, but we do not yet know who. Write a fiction depicting your character getting to the bottom of who is supplying the insurgent gangs with weapons and mercenaries.

The winning fictions will be picked using the Fiction Rubric 2.0. The top three entries will be awarded using Fourth Level Crescents, and all entries will received Clusters of Ice.
