Competition: [CSP] Words and War - Phase 2: Fiction

This is the Phase 2 Fiction for Clan Scholae Palatinae’s Words and War event. Judging will be based on the Voice’s fiction grading rubric. Below are included the two prompts; as the clan is split up upon two paths, that of War and that of Subterfuge. Choose your path and remember your mission throughout your submission.

Path of War: In the midst of battle, the Grand Vizer has pulled a select team of Scholae Palatinae forces for a special mission. You have been selected, to leave the battle and make your way along the fringes to the Elaya command group. Once there, you have been tasked to capture their commander and any other notable Elaya members to force them to withdraw their forces from the battle. However, we all know war doesn’t always go as planned...

Path of Subterfuge: After making your way past the local government’s security forces, you have found an assembled crowd in the marketplace, keen on viewing your display and philosophy on the force. Yet, not all are convinced after your initial showcase; calling them “parlour tricks”. How do you handle the unconvinced?
