Competition: Intriguing Way of Decoding Data

Finished
Intriguing Way of Decoding Data

The Meridian Station ordeal is over and Peacekeeper Dael Provect of Clan Odan-Urr is attempting to decode data retrieved from the station and throughout the battles.

The sentinel was busy at his desk, and had been at it for hours bleeding into days. It was not the healthiest, especially after his endeavor on Meridian Station itself. But it was necessary - the whole team was digging deep.

Dael cocked his head as he looked at a particular series of streams and ciphers... something was odd here. "Is this..." he muttered, and then rescanned what was in front of him.

The slicer Jedi stood up from his desk and turned around to look at his comrades. "Uh, we've got poetry... so there's that."

A key to this dataset is poetry. To aid Dael and the Clan, or perhaps glean something from his efforts for yourself and your own clan, develop a haiku or limerick poem that may actually be a key piece of intelligence on the Collective.

  • Haiku or Limerick styles are allowed
  • Maximum of 5 stanzas
  • Your poem can be further clues, or it can be actual "dirt" on the Collective

The first three places based on creativity, poetry style, and overall flow will win crescents (Clusters of Ice not awarded). The winner will also be incorporated into Dael's fiction and adventures as a sentinel.

There once was a bomber named Sparks
Who planted her bombs over Arx,
But then the whole lot
Were defused by the plot.
"Damn it, this whole thing's a farce!"

A Force among us
No longer shall fear filled thoughts
Control our actions

Meridian Prime
Lost amongst the stars of war
The Brotherhood calls

Into the future
We look for our victory
Where none dare follow

Outside the outer
Past the wilds and into dark
Our new allies wait

Together we stand
United against the Force
Collectively strong
