Art in the written word is all about self-expression. To some, doing what they are good at, regardless of what it is, is also a form of artistic expression. Qel-Droma is a family of criminals. Crime truly can be a form of Art.

For this competition, write a Haiku about the criminal lifestyle of your character. If they aren’t a criminal, write a Haiku as to why that is.

Rules:

• The Haiku must meet the 5-7-5 syllable requirement

• The Haiku may be multi-stanza, just make sure to follow the rule above

• Do Not Plagiarize your work, or the work of others.

Grading

Grading will be based on:

• Creativity

• Originality

• Spelling/Grammar

• Adherence to the prompt

In addition to bragging rights, each entry will receive 1 participation point toward the container competition. The top three placements will receive additional bonus points, as follows:

• 1st place: 1 participation point
• 2nd place: 0.5 participation point
• 3rd place: 0.25 participation point
