All your years spent training and specializing in various skills and abilities have prepared you for a variety of challenges you will undoubtedly face throughout your life. However, all that lifelong hard work might not have prepared you for EVERY challenge...

In spite of your best efforts, you've just stumbled into what might be a situation calculated perfectly by fate itself to ensure that none of your strengths will be of use. In no less than 500 words, write a fiction describing what this situation might look like for your character, and how they would react if it came to pass.

• Submissions may be PDFs, Word docs, text box submissions, or other written document file formats. Google Docs submissions are not preferable.
• All submissions will be graded in accordance with the Fiction Grading Rubric
• The top three placements will receive Second Level Crescents, and all participants will receive Clusters of Ice based on word count.
