Competition: [CP HEK] 'Losing Elysian'

Finished
[CP HEK] 'Losing Elysian'

Specifics

While all members of House Exar Kun are preparing themselves to evacuate Elysian, the ‘Crimson Tide’ strikes back! Due to the charging supernova nearby, all personnel and Dark Jedi are on a tight time schedule and were not aware of the upcoming threat. Fact is that the pirates are not alone this time. Captain Calliban Crimson made an usual alliance with three sinister men, all with their own little private army and all with their own agenda’s. The available sensors and scanners were off, because personnel were already packing all equipment. They attacked by full surprise. Not just a mere Dreadnaught appears out of the blue, but an Imperial Star Destroyer named ‘Nemesis’ is seen above Elysian this time. It is unknown for now what will happen next and what will be their plan of action. There are rumours about the identities of the allies of Crimson, who joined his ‘Pact of Accarr’. The House stand for the impossible job to secure that all personnel, younglings and Dark Jedi make it off Elysian, while the orders from the Clan Summit are simple and clear. Make sure that to the ‘Crimson Tide’ no delays are accepted and that they should never have bothered Clan Plagueis.

Comments

This is an important run-on competition which will guide our House from Elysian to our new home world. Therefore we (Godo & Gaidal) came up with a specific set of rules in this case:

  1. This is a run-on competition that will last for three weeks. This is a competition ONLY for HEK members. There is no sign up for the members and one may post as much as one wants.

  2. When you post it has to be around one page long, like in Word with size 10 Times New Roman. It may never be less than half a page or more than two pages.

  3. There is one main storyline, keep that in mind all the time! Additional storylines are always interesting, but only when they fit in the story and support the main story. Try to keep such side plots as limited as possible, because the main story line is very important and delicate. In case they do not, the post will be edited. Godo and I will always have to authorisation to edit posts, if necessary at all times.

  4. There are four most wanted criminals involved in this alliance. Please read their character sheets if you wish to use them in a particular scene. DO NOT make assumptions too fast, because in the end we (Godo & Gaidal) decide whether or not a villain dies. What we would like to see is that the participants try to use these villains and give them more depth. To try and make more out of them than mere fictional characters (NPC’s) to fill a story with a bad guy.

  5. Godo & Gaidal will post every now and then to fill the gaps in the story and lead you through the main plot. In order to easily write in this competition it is advised to read the run-on competitions ‘Crimson Tide’, ‘Return to Eden’& ‘Elysian Expedition’. It is also advised to read the profiles of the criminals in the ‘Most Wanted List’ on the forum.

  6. Remember that you are writing this story together, DO NOT cause anything horrible to a colleague writer of yours, when this person does not approve such action. Discuss this with one another to avoid problems in the competition.

  7. There are three medals that can be earned for a good writer, a better writer and the best writer. Godo and I will judge the posts together and will decide who deserves these medals. There are four major requirements: language, style, grammar & plot development. Every writer will be judged based on these requirements. We will also look at how often a participant came up with posts. In the end, one will be judged based on these two things.
